App Testing Services
While there’s nothing wrong with asking friends or potential users to beta test your application, there are two potential issues:
- Unless your beta test group has experience in testing iPhone apps and documenting issues, the test may be worthless; and
- Doing an open beta can give away a marketplace advantage by giving your competition a way to reverse-engineer your product!
The App2Market staff has years of experience in testing and documentation of Mac and iPhone applications. We draw up and sign a non-disclosure agreement prior to receiving your ad hoc distributions for testing, and we test each and every version of your app. Our documentation of errors or user interface suggestions is thorough and fast; we won’t hold up your development schedule.
Since the depth of the testing required depends on the experience of the development team, the complexity of the application, and the number of build cycles needed to create a bug-free app, we charge an hourly rate for these services.
